Matthew qualified in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. He has a specialist interest in cycling injuries and bike fitting as well as treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions in all age groups.
He gained valuable post graduate experience working in New Zealand and Australia as well as completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University. He is a member of the Manipulative Association of Physiotherapy and is a level two bike fitter certified by the International bike fitting institute. He has always been a keen sportsman and has particular interests in running, triathlons and cycling.
He has been delivering a bike fitting service since 2010 and this has been complemented by completion of bike fitting related courses at Cyclefit London, Physiohaus ( John Dennis) Newcastle and with Tony Corke of Torkcycling.
The benefit of being a Physiotherapist and having a working knowledge of human biomechanics compliments and is fundamental to this service.
